Feature Request - 2/3 D1

I'd love to have the possibility to set the extras to 2/3 D1 instead of 1/2 D1. All the DVD-Players I have tested have no problems with 2/3 D1 and the Results are better than 1/2 D1 particularly for extras.
The bit rate would have to be adapted accordingly.

What do you say?

I'd say requesting a feature is something someone may do after he/she has done a donation :)

maybe you did...
/me didn't, that's why I always ask for the possibilty to implement certain things but never request something ;)

keep in mind that new "features" do mean changes of code - and there are always other things to finish first before adding new gadgets...

but concerning your question... it has been ask before if it would be possible to adjust the bitrate for extras, IMHO that is much cleverer than just adjusting to 2/3 D1

The problem, IMHO, is that 2/3 D1 is not included in the DVD specs...

So, such an option would introduce more problems [for people having players not supporting it] than the benefit for the others...

I haven't done a donation so far but I will. Cause it is a good program. And it is better than anything I tested before.

Can I change the title into something like ask/possibility for a new feature???

Sorry, no can do... Creating a feature that would build DVDs out of spec would become a real problem.
