I'm having a problem with GSpot -- for any/every AVI I load, it says: "Codec(s) are NOT Installed" and is unable to render either audio or video. It does render everything OK via DirectShow.
This used to work fine on my system, but it no longer does. The Codecs themselves seem fine, I'm able to encode via VirtualDub(Mod) and decode fine as well. The only thing I can think of is I ran the XviD "Vidc.Cleaner" utility the other day.
I have tried everything, including clearing GSpot registry entries, re-installing the program, reinstalling XviD, reinstalling DivX... nothing helps. I'm running Win2k SP4. Any ideas?
