TMPGenc ac-3 plug in

hi,
does anybody have any info on how to use TMPGenc's ac-3 plug in. what i'm specically looking for is a way to use just the soundplayer to convert just the audio portion (mp2) of a dvd i had previously authored with xpress 3.0 to 2 channel ac3. for some reason i can't figure out a way to get the mp2 file into the soundplayer for conversion. thanks ---newhaven

I was able to figure it out. opened my joined VOB's in tmpgenc xpress 3.0. instead of reencoding video and audio, i just selected the audio output only option in the output section. done in 10 minutes-------------------------newhaven

How did you specify Dialogue Normalisation and DRC? Without those you don't know how the audio will come out on DVD players.
