Hey ppls...

I've got a movie split over 2 AVI files and I followed the Nandub guide to get them back into 1 file. I check the finished AVI afterwards and there is no problems. File is full length of movie and there is no glitchs where i joined the movie. But this is where I get the problem...

I take the AVI file just created and drop it into DVD2SVCD. Setup aspect ratio (And im usin CCE for encoding) And click Go. (I have already followed the guide to setup DVD2SVCD at this stage).

DVD2SVCD starts working. I come back many hours later and it has finished my conversion. So i mount the ISO and press play and it appears to have only done up to the point i re-joined the movie, or it may even be a little less than that.

I tried re-joining the file and trying again, but it was still not successful.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this problem before?? Or is there a step i may have overlooked???

Thanks

You have to demux AC3 track from joined file and fix it using ac3fix or BeSliced and mux it back with video track.

No probs, thanks.

I don't really know how to that? Is there any guides or anything around to help me with this process? Or is it fairly simple?

It's quite simple:

1. Run VirtualDubMod, load AVI and go to Streams -> Stream list.

2. Hit Demux button and save AC3 file.

3. Run BeSliced, drag'n'drop AC3 file and choose FixFile!

4. In VDM Streams -> Stream list choose original track and hit Disable.

5. Add fixed AC3 file. Be sure to set video mode to Direct stream copy.

6. Create new AVI file (File -> Save as or F7).
