the internet streaming media alliance has released the specifications of their ISMA 2.0 standard (following its well known 1.0 version, using MPEG-4 part2 video)

It now seems to add HE-AAC and AVC too

Thanks for posting this info bond :)

Reading between the lines, it would seem that chip-sets capable of correctly processing and decoding AAC-HE audio will only appear along side chip-sets capable of decoding Mpeg4/AVC :(

But... mustn't grumble!

That's some great news. I bet QT7 will have it included. What about next release of Recode 2?

But anyway, we are pushing for ISMA 2.0 support, but not necessarely for Recode..
