Well I record alot of series over DVB and haveafter cutting and merging MPG (MPEG2 Standard; SVCD resolution; Stereo 48.000/192KB) Files.

There sure take alot of size on my HDD. Is there a easy way/program to make DIVX out of them incl. Deinterlacing?

Downloaded it.

Still a few question left.

Is it possible that he always does a DeInterlacing and does not change the resolution and the mp2 files.

Is there nothing more with these functions out there. Or is there a guide how to make a mpg2avi with the best possible but smallest size.
