I searched if there is an answer to my question, but found no definitive answer while the smae question raised several times.

Here is my problem. I splitted DVD9 one title into two DVD5 title using Dvdfab (Bramstoker's Dracular). Each title is smoothly played without any problem. Now, I want to join abck these two titles into one DVD9 title for encoding it using Nerodigital.

I tried Dvdshrink, Infoedit, Vobedit, but all failed to produce seamless one title. All the file produced by these applz showed, either, short black scene at the point, or can not continue to play beyond the point, at which title had been splitted by DvdFab.

Could you any one suggest the best way to join back splitted title into the original? I dont need exactly same as the original but only main movie would be suffice.

Please help me

To eliminate the black, you will need to carefully cut the VOB, if it ends in black at the split, which it probably doesn't. Many free progs can do this including DVD Shrink and VobBlanker.

What's happening is that your combined DVD is jumping from 1 title to another, through the VMGM. This is causing a slight pause. The way around this is to use your Nero Recode to Merge Titles.

The reason the playback stops is probably got to do with "flags". The merged titled, will probably consist of 2 VOB IDs, and at the split, the flag must be an SCR discontinuity (as well as seamless) - a type 10 flag. The easiest way to check these flags is in PgcEdit, which has a very handy editor window.

Good luck
