I ripped the entire dvd into my hd and I'm following Doom9 guide on using Robot4Rip on pre-ripped files.
http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/divx4-avs-main.htm
I selected the folder to scan. Selected the movie, audio, and subtitles but the Start button is grayed out. Anyone know why?

hi and welcome to the forum,
have you seen this guide? perhaps it can help you figure out whats wrong... i'd say it's most likely a problem with first time setup...
http://www.doom9.org/r4r-guide.htm
anyway, to give you a more detailed answer i'd need more information, screenshots, detailed settings, etc

Thanks
I followed your link and set it up exactly how it was shown. I played around w/ all the little options but start button is still grayed out.
Is there a different program I can use to rip just the subtitles?

Subrip, perhaps. See http://www.doom9.org/subtitle_guides.htm
