I recently encoded a movie with XviD v1.0.3-20122004. When I open the moview with Gspot I get "Codec(s) are NOT Installed" (it most definitely is). Gspot is able to render the video using DirectShow, but not directly. Anyone know what's up... is this an issue of Gspot needing updated?
Thanx.

I did, but it didn't help. :( Now it seems GSpot is also showing "Codec(s) are NOT Installed" with DivX avi's... no idea what's going on. GSpot is unable to render either audio and video in anything anymore. However, DirectShow rendering still works fine.
This is on Win2k SP4, if it matters. I ran the XviD "Vidc.Cleaner" utility earlier, could this cause problems?
