Powerdvd Green Lines

ust installed powerdvd pro.
on a PIII 550Mhz with 512 RAM

when playing any region DVD, half the picture has Green vertical lines in it.
this is in menus aswell.
my video card is a S3trio3d2x
ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling powerdvd and video drivers.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ITS DRIVING ME INSANE!!

does this also happen with media player classic or something else that uses directshow's overlay mixer?

i had a flickering-off colour lines problem every 16 pixels with my geforce 2's overlay (until it exploded and i had to put in my old geforce 1).

i guess you can't screenshoot the overlay mixer, can you?
