Been a while since I delved into authoring, I have a dvd here that has a scene it in that cuts short when played thru the menu...if I rip the vobset with dvddecryptor i can view the whole scene..
Basically when played thru the menu it ends about two mins short..I would like to be able to see the whole thing when I play it from the menu...this is where my knowledge breaks down a little...
theres obviously a command somewhere that tells the player where to start and where to stop..is there anyway I can change the "stop" point? Why the hell they cut it short I don't know...maybe it's because the people in the scene drop there guard at the end of the clip and show a little "behind the scenes" talk...so they ended it early.

I know I am oversimplifying but thanks in advance for any tips.

Off to the DVD Authoring forum where you can get some more experienced eyes on this.

This is simply a case of the original author having excluded the last cell from the PGC that has been targeted by the menu. You need only re-author the Title, by adding that last cell to the PGC - no physical manipulation of the VOB is required - this PGC reauthoring is purely an alteration of logical structure (and hence no demultiplexing &/or remultiplexing will be required). PGCedit will probably serve your needs.
