Tearing in PowerDVD WinDVD

Does anyone else get tearing when you watch a DVD on your PC? Like in a computer game, where the top half draws itself quicker than the bottom half? I've just been watching Kill Bill Vol 1 DVD (proper retail copy) and I noticed it, especially on some of the fight scenes and the part where the Jap gangstas are walking down the hallway with the cool music playing.

Anyway to stop it from happening? It's quite distracting. Thanks.

Tearing is not very rare when it comes to computer video.
As I understand you haven't had this problem before?
Have you made any changes like new video card drivers, changed video card settings, changed DVD player soft settings, etc. recently?
Also CPU/disk/graphics intensive applications runnning at the same time may be related to it.

Got more problems with PowerDVD 6, now the audio is out of synch with the video and sometimes has to catch itself it up.

DVD films (retail or copies) run fine in VLC though. This never used to happen, anyone know what's up with that?

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Power DVD ?
