auotgk is taking ages, i didnt think it would take this long, its taken about 3and a half hours allready and looks like it mite take another few hours, is there anyway i can make it go faster

PS im runnin a 3 month old pentium4 pc with something like 528mb of ram, along with a decent graphic card, which should affect anything

is this the case for all movies? if it's just one movie, you sure it's not interlaced and maybe that's why it's taking a little longer? how many frames are we talking? and you're doing 2 pass i assume?
for my encoding, it usually takes on average 45 minutes for first pass and about 1 - 1:30 hours for second pass. but longer for interlaced/hybrid. FILM should be fast.
i have an intel prescott 3.2hhz with 1 gig of RAM.

i dunno. i just put the dvd in and flled out all the <Edited per Rule 4> with autogk and let it run, its all on default

i followed the guide for it on this site, the dvd is decrypted and everything should be fine, i think

just dont be so impatient, my encondes usually are 4-5 hours long. dont forget what you are asking to your processor. I you think its too slow, try doing it yourself...

ok, i just thort it was my computer that was screwing up, thanks, and it happens with all movies too
