View Full Version : AC-3 in Nero Vision Express 2&3

I am trying to enable AC-3 compression in Nero Vision Express 2. Right now the option to change "audio format" is blanked out and is set to LPCM.

I thought maybe if I upgraded to Vision Express 3 I would be able to, but now the option to change audio format is not even there.

Am I missing something?

I think this is an OEM version problem, as my NeroVision Express version 2 that came with my Memorex burner can select AC3.

Yes, I do have an OEM version. Are there any work arounds for this, I do I need to install some type of Nero plug in?

That I don't know. But it seems that Nero is tailoring the OEM versions for each manufacturer, and that the upgrades, which are publicly available from their website, are aware of this. This is similar to my version of Pinnacle Studio 8 which will not run unless there is an ATi graphics card present.
