auotgk is taking ages, i didnt think it would take this long, its taken about 3and a half hours allready and looks like it mite take another few hours, is there anyway i can make it go faster

i ahve a 3month old pentium4 with something like 528mb of ram, also a decent craphics card, nothing else is running on the computer
so that is not the answer

Ok, the answare is... xvid doesnt like P4's hyperthreading...
so your machine is running at half speed while encoding with xvid.
the answare is still the same... buy a faster computer... maybe not a P4...
