AVI's with subtitles.

When I play a avi file with independent subtitles in .sub format with windows media player there is a rectangular smudge in the top right hand corner. If I was to convert this file to DVD including the subtitles, when I play it on my DVD Player and turn off the subtitles as they're Dutch will this rectangular smudge appear.

I can't tell you but it's unlikely. Moved to DVD Authoring.

Try playing it with a different player and see if this "smudge" still appears...
