Some Divx Xvid issues

I have a few music videos, some in AVI and some MPG's... Mostly the MPG files just make my PC go crazy when i want to play them and mekes my PC hang. AVI works fine but there are a fewe doing the same as MPG's.

Sometime the sound play but picture is frosen until i move the divx player movie window.

Is there anything i need or have to tweek?

Whats the best software to use for all these divx xvid files?

'divx player' like DXN's DivX Player? :confused: There is a bunch of players (look @ doom9 software page) so try to find the one that works and suits you best.
