There are previews of the next episode on this DVD I'm trying to backup. Each seems to be exactly 32 seconds. The episodes on the disk encode nice, but these previews look blocky as hell. Are they being ignored altogether by CCE or DVD-RB? If so, is there any way to get CCE to encode them? I'm using DVD-RB v.72 beta with CCE 2.70.01.05

Nevermind, nothing to see here, move along, lol.

Your backup can only be as good as your source.
Each preview was blocky to begin with when my retail DVD was played on my DVD player.

Was that one of the star trek original series DVD's by chance? the previews in comparison to the episodes were horrable in that series.

Actually it was a very recent DVD series, Babylon 5. I'm baffled the quality was so bad. There was more than enough space left on the DVD-9 to encode the four 30 second previews correctly.

I did all five babylon 5 seasons awhile ago. I don't recall the previews looking blocky. The quality of the original disks were not that good to begin with so it doesn't leave you much to work with. I wound up doing the entire series manually and put 3 episodes on per disk and created my own menus.
