hahaha, I can barely write a program...but I sure do know what I want in a one :P If it's already been suggested I'm sorry, just ignore me.

I think having an auto-rebuild of some kind would be nice. Perhaps a check box below the prepare, encode, and rebuild buttons...so that when you are in the 3 click mode, as opposed to one click....you can tell it to auto-rebuild after the encode is done. That way once you hit encode, you can just forget about it. And if the checkbox is clicked, just grey out the rebuild button or something :D

Thanks.

While we're asking for things, here are a couple of things I'd like to see added to Rebuilder:

1. Have it check to make sure my output folder path and folder name is valid BEFORE the rebuild phase, so that when I get up or home or whatever, I don't have to find out that my disc didn't rebuild because I screwed up and my old folder (or in my case, my firewire drive) isn't there any more. (when I reboot, my firewire drive doesn't always get seen by Windows).

2. This will sound stupid, but I'd like to see a timer added that would allow me to start re-encoding at a certain time. I'd like to set it up to start AFTER I've left for work, or AFTER I've went to bed. I know it sounds stupid, but my wife hates it when I'm re-encoding, and she wants to use the computer. If I could set the timer, I'd set it for after she's gone! :D

3. One thing that I'd love to see is some kind of button you could hit and it would analyze the DVD with the current options you've selected (Steal space from Extras, 1/2 D1, etc.) and it would immediately (or as fast as possible) tell you some stats on the reduction level, bitrates, etc. you would get if you encoded at those settings. This would be even more helpful with request #4 (removal of parts of the DVD), but right now you have to PREPARE the disc before you get any of this info. Hopefully there would be a faster way that would give you this data.

4. Obviously, I'd love to see re-encoding of menus, and having the option to remove things and replace them with still frames.

I know I've got more, but those are the ones that come to mind right now. I'll say again, thanks again jdobbs! It is an awesome program, and it gets better with every version released!

You know instead of setting up a timer you can set the cpu priority for cce to below normal or low. Using eclcce gives you that ability you know. That way cce will give power away to whatever program your wife is running. Thats what I do when Im encoding and my wife wants to use the computer for something.

Do this by opening task manager, right clicking on the cce process and setting it to below normal or low.

that would make it THE Killer-App... it already is, but...

but don't forget one thing - DVD-RB is for complete backup
