what if i want at example rebuild 24 season1 disc1,
in vts 1 are 4 episodes,
and i will only rebuild 2 episodes onto one dvd5 but will keep menus

and on next dvd5 the next 2 episodes, also with the menus
is that possible ?

You would need to use a program like dvd fab i think to split the one dvd into two dvd folders. Then when that is done it should fit onto 2 dvd 5's without any re encoding.
EDIT: Just to be clear. Im not sure if you can keep menus using dvd fab. You probably could if you used DVD Remake however.

You can creat 2 different disks and blank the no needed Files with the VOBBlanker (http://www.posunplugged.com/jsoto/vobblanker.htm)(freeware). In both versions you can keep the menues(Version 1 with episodes 1+2+menue, version 2 with episodes 3+4+menue). If these versions are to big for a 5GB DVD, you can use the RB to reduce them.

You can use Shrink to preprocess the original.
The first time you select "Still Image" for the episodes 3 and 4.
The second time you select the "Still Image" for episodes 1 and 2.
You can then process the output from Shrink through Rebuilder.
But actually I think that after compressing 2 episodes to still image you can just select automatic compression in Shrink for the rest of the DVD, as the compression ratio will probably be high (if not 100%)

Depending on the DVD, Shrink may not be able to break apart the different areas of the disc that contain the episodes to insert your still frame. That can make it almost impossible to blank out one episode or two. I've had trouble doing that a LOT with Shrink, and finally decided that DVD FAB is probably the way to go if you want it done quickly and easily. Yes, it will put the menu on both discs (if you want it to), and it will add a screen to insert disc X if you select something that is removed and is on the other disc (if you want it to). It works pretty well, and you don't have to do any re-encoding.
You could also use DVDremake, but it is a LOT more difficult to see what you're doing, and adding the "INSERT DISC X" screen can be done, but has to be done manually. Like mentioned above VOBblanker is another option. Pick your poisen.

You could also delete the menu buttons corrosponding to the missing episodes. Do this with MenuEdit.

I just got through processing the second season of 24 on DVD. I ripped the DVD with DVD Decryptor and then used IFOEdit to process the VOB files into a single VOB for each episode. I imported two episodes at a time into DVD-Lab and created my own menu. I didn't reuse any of the extras from the DVDs in the process but I don't see any reason why you couldn't salvage them as well.
If you feel creative you could probably use the existing menu VOB files to create a set of motion menus like the original. You'd just have to re-link the individual movies to whatever buttons are provided on the existing menus. I haven't tried anything this complex myself so I may be oversimplifying the process. I prefer to create my own menus from scratch.
