Hello, and welcome to the forum.

You cannot use Vorbis Audio in an AVI container.

Click on the OGG Vorbis FAQ (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68300#post424066) and see Question 6.

[EDIT: Oops. I read avs and interpreted it as avi. Sorry. Late at night, here. AFAIK, you must either convert the audio to Linear PCM (.wav), or use DirectShowSource().]
