I've been following some advice I've gotten about re-encoding a pal dvd to ntsc dvd. I want to keep the menu also. I was told to re-encode the menu, get the subs with subrip prog, open the menu and audio in scenarist and draw highlights over the buttons and save. Then open both original and new menu in menuedit and copy the commands for each button over to the new menu. I'm having a problem with the whole scenarist program. I'm trying to draw the highlights, I'm following what help says, help says pick this and that but it's greyed out and I can't. Any guides with pictures on how to do what I'm trying to do ? thanks

nick101181,
well i commend you on using the manual approach to doing this. if you would like some further information on how to create mnenus i suggest you read the Scenarist NT (http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/scenarist.htm) guide by doom9.
you can also search for the many guides/threads on BOV(button over video) that follow the same/similar rules to menu authoring.
however it would be remiss of me not to point out that as of the latest release, NuMenu4U, can automate this entire process for you :D
for more information, please see this thread: NuMenu4u RC4 Build 1.3 (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=87433)
