P4 1.7GHz or celeron 2GHz ?

which of these would be better for encoding avi's to dvd?

I know the celeron is slower but would the fact that it is a 2GHz make up for it?

depends on if your willing and know how to overclock the cpu generaly a celron cpu will overclock more then a standard p4 but a p4 will definatly outpower a celron but if you can get that celron up fairly high it will be pretty similar speeds at converting but still i would say a p4 but why a 1.7 dude you can get a 2.66 really cheap now
