xvid with qpel re-encoding to xvid without qpel

can anybody suggest me some guide to reconvert (or re-encode) xvid with qpel into xvid without qpel, because my standalone player (philips dvd737) doesn't support qpel.
i know, virtualdub can do it, but i can't find any guide for reconverting. only for encoding are...

you have to re-encode... so load the avi in vdub(mod) and do the encode...

Considering all other settings remain the same:

Video-->Compression-->XviD MPEG-4 codec-->Under 'Profile' uncheck 'Quarter Pixel', if it is not already unchecked.

Do you not remember the settings you used previously to encode it? (this isn't a downloaded file is it?) Just use the same settings you had before and just uncheck qpel and you will have no problems.
