Hello, don't know if it's the right section...
I wanted to know if it's possible to capture from the PC a video of a running game(like make a video of u playing Quake or Max Payne)

As jggimi's link points out, you'll need a screen capture program. Camtasia (http://www.techsmith.com/products/studio/default.asp) is a good one, I've seen a lot of slick audio/video tutorials done with it.
I've been playing around recently with Macromedia's new screencap utility, Captivate (http://www.macromedia.com/software), it has the capability to export your captured files to several destination formats, including SWF. (Of course  ) A 30 day demo is offered.
HyperCam (http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/index.asp) is a less expensive, although less flexible, program.
In an earlier thread, you mention that your system is based on an AMD 900 MHz processor. I think that you'll experience a tremendous number of dropped frames as your system not only renders the game, but attempts to capture it simultaneously. In short, I doubt seriously whether you can capture a file that's worth viewing. Whichever program you try, it would be a good idea to start with a screencap of a simple program first; get your steps down before attacking Quake.

Thanx for the answer. Yes My Processor is not the fastest and I saw during the capturing operation. I'll try to get another one for that
