is possible to change the default script creation of cce 2.70 for the variable create_new_vaf=0 ?
Now is set to create_new_vaf=1 and if I want to reprocess the movie All the *.vaf are lost

If it is set to "0" you will run into problems when trying to pause/resume encoding. I think this is a more common scenario.
You can always open REBUILDER.ECL with a text editor and do a find-and-replace from "create_new_vaf=1" to "create_new_vaf=0" when you run into an instance that you want to redo all the files doing only one more pass (e.g. to slightly change the bitrate).

no...the vaf is deleted automatically from cce when the sequence is not complete and, dvd-rb doesn't increase sequence number before the m2v is complete...even if the pc crashes or like that...
I know becase dvd-rb make the cript for cce 2.5 with that option by default and I've never had problem even with crashes.:o
but maybe if the pc crashes in the vaf preparation ccce will not able to complete the encoding cause the vaf is not deleted

Incorrect. I've had that happen many times. The left over VAF caused the encode to stop with an error. I think the only one that always always starts over is CCE Basic.
Try this with v2.50:
1. Start an encode using OPV and abort it. The VAF remains.
2. Change the type to multipass VBR.
3. Start encoding again.
You will see that it will stop with the message "CCE Encoding Failed"
There are other examples as well.
