I am trying to use ProjectX to demux my HD capture stream. Since the capture stream is 16 gigs (2 hrs). ProjectX is splitting the output file into multiple 4gig files. However, the audio remains on one file. I have selected the option to create Mpeg2Schnitt files. But when I open the m2v file in Mpeg2Schnitt, the audio and the first file open up. I have to manually open the additional files, but they do not get linked to the audio. I think that I may be opening the wrong file. I also see a d2v file, but I cannot open that. I get a message about incorrect version. I am using projectx version 0.81.9.00 and Mpeg2Schnitt 061.

I tried dgindex, but due to different audio rate for during commercials, I keep getting audio synch errors with it. I am still looking for a good way to demux, but keep audio in synch.

My ts file had video in both 11 and 21 channels, so I selected 11 and 14 and made them into a separete collection that I processed.

Out of sheer curiosity, why are you splitting into 4Gb chunks? I'm guessing that the recording is a single 16Gb file which indicates you can store large files sucessfully.

Unfortunately, I have a fat32 partition with too much stuff to do over unless absolutely necessary. So I am limited to 4gb per file. My 16gb are spread over several files. I thought of processing them one at a time, but am not sure hoy they will synch up once processed. Will try that unless a beter alternative comes up.

Is there a way to take a 12gig ts file and demux it to two files, one video and one audio. I am not understanding how to do this?
