file is not seekable

i ve done some mkv (xvid + ac3 + idx)
and one of them can not seek in mplayer !!

My tools = autogk(xvid) + mkvtoolnix

i can seek with vlc but i preffer mplayer

Someone has a solution ?

What version of mkvtoolnix are you using ?

Some versions will give the duration in 64 bits floats instead of 32 bits one, which make seeking impossible for some (non-compliant) players.

this movie is indeed over two hours and maybe thats the reason

i ll look for an older version of mkvtoolnix
I hope mplayer will upgrade soon
