I've got ProCoder 1.5 loaded with EclPro in the same dir. I ran EclPro and pointed it to ProCoder.

It appears all the settings for DVD-RB are set properly. I watched the first phase, the D2V creation, happen properly.

When I tried to initiate the second phase, ProCoder worked on the first element then just sat there. The end of its processing should be detected and then it's closed, somehow. I've manually closed ProCoder and the next element starts being encoded so everything else appears to be working except the auto-closing of ProCoder 1.50. Any suggestions as to what could be wrong?

Additionally, what about using ProCoder versions prior to 1.50 with EclPro? Has anyone used 1.01.35.0?

I will be corrected if I am wrong but I beleve EclPro requires Procoder 2.0 so you might need to upgrade.

No one talks about Procoder much here so I would be curious to see pic's of your results if and when you get it running. From what I have read here it is assumed that it is better than QuEnc but not on par with CCE though I have never seen proof one way or the other.

Good luck

@Fred Thompson
For ProCoder 1.50 try EclPro v0.08 (in the EclPro thread). Probably there's a bug in v0.21 (it works with ProCoder 2.0). There will be a new release soon to fix.

Did ProCoder 1.01.35.0 support .avs? I think .avs support was added with 1.50, anyway, I see no reason to support a version older than 1.5 (2.0 is faster, but someone states 1.5 has better quality - for me it's equal).

@Socio
ProCoder quality is very good (I don't know if it's better of CCE or not, it's personal taste). If one has ProCoder and want to use DVD-RB hasn't to buy another program (CCE Basic) to get his good quality backup. Anyway, probably ProCoder is better than CCE for interlaced source.

This version should work with ProCoder 1.5 (link will be available as soon as a Mod approves it)
I'm still testing, and I will update the original ECLPro thread tomorrow.

I don't see any attachments to approve. :(

I don't know what happened, but you might want to try again.
