xvid in .mp4 file

Hi Guys,
Are there tools available for compressing video using xvid into compliant .mp4 file formats?

That's the one thing I particularly like about Nero Digital, ditched .avi and moved onto .mp4 where a lot of advanced features are supported without hacks.

Just compress it in VirtualDub into an avi and use an mp4 creator to put it in a .mp4 container. Check out the download section of the main page and you can find software to do that.

Try avi2raw and then mp4creator. This way it will be muxed as V_MPEG4/ISO.
