whoo, tough one

you could try adobe auditions centerchannelextarctor to remove center/mono information, the stereo parts of the music would remain

the easiest part would be to find a complete version of the music and replace the useless part in the cap

no, that is not possible with any method i can imagine
it'll only remove the mono/center part
not worth it IMO

the problem is this:
1st: you need a somewhat mathematical description of what you call foreground, because computers are dumb and only understand numbers
2nd: if you make somethign quiter and put somethign lauder over it you destroy part of it, and the technology to recreatesuch losses isn't there (yet) AFAIK

so as i said, it's best to get some clean version of the ending-music and replace the "damaged" ones

Well, someone once compared the process of restoring distinct audio tracks (which you'd need here) from a mixdown with restoring a fully working cow from a pot of beef stew - it just can't be done.

np: Francesco Sansalone - Spleen (Texhnolyze OST Music, Only Music, But Music)

you can recreate it to a certain extend, sure, BUT:
it's a lot of work, much more than it's worth
and it'll never ever be 100%

let's take this analogy:
you have a painting, you spray a graphity over it and take a pic of that with your digicam
now on that digital picture try to remove the graphity and get back the painting (including the parts that where totally covered by the graphity)
see? you can't the information isn't there
you can interplorate and extrapolate stuff, but that'll not be your original painting, just some stuff fitting in

the main problem in your case is again:
a progammer needs a definition of "foreground" and "background" he can put into math
got one?
