Hi,
I'm using a program called PocketDivXEncoder. it was working just fine a while ago but now it gives me a error rigth before it hits the 100%. the error reads;
AVI/ASF Import Filter Warning
-----------------------------------------------------------
Warning: VirtualDub has reconstructed the index for this file, but you have not specified rekeying in the extended open options dialog. Seeking in this file may be slow.
Aceptar.
-------------------------------------------------------------
it gives me an unplayable file. ( the software has a buton that says play enconded video when i play it using that option it plays, thats about the only way you can make it work )

For the love of God, please use PUNCTUATION and SPELLCHECK your posts. I have no clue what your problem is other than you get the "Missing keyframes" error message, because your post is next to unreadable. It doesn't seem to have to do anything with avisynth (it's not that hard to spell, really), so it's probably the wrong forum section to ask (you might also want to have a look at the forum rules again, especially rule #9 [and #6]).
That message occurs when you try to load a corrupt avi file that is missing the index (for example, a file you downloaded not completely). Also, as you noticed yourself already, you probably messed up your system beyond repair, so doing a clean install and then trying again might be a good idea.

I'm moving this to vdub forum. I guess it belongs there.

your file is missing an index...
open it up in virtualdub with extended options (lower-left corner of file opening screen) and check "rederive keyframe flags"
then save the file with direct stream copy on for audio and video.

the problem is im not using virtualdub is not even installed in my computer this program is only an exe and nothing els no need to install it dosent even make folders so i dont know what to do =/? ( right now im encoding with new setings in dorctor divx hopefully the quality will be as good as the poket divx encoder. ( you can get it at divx.ppccool.com ) so you can see is only one program maybe it has virtualdub etc inside?

yes, but what i just told you solves your problem. so get virtualdub and do it :p
i think they just ported the AVI opening routines from VirtualDub... (not unusual, AVIsynth uses them too)
