I am having difficulties and getting confused with all this decrypting and converting as well as the huge number of different formats and programs there are.
I am doing all this decrypting and converting because I have an Archos gmini400 which plays DivX or Xvid files.
Using DVD Decryptor and AutoGK....
I used DVD Decrypter (in IFO mode) on a DVD which created 16 vob files (VTS_01_VOBID_001_1.VOB to VTS_01_VOBID_001_1.VOB) on my hard drive.
But when I use AutoGK to convert the vob files to DivX it only converts one vob file !
How do I get it to convert ALL 16 vob files into one DivX file ?

error !!!
DVD which created 16 vob files (VTS_01_VOBID_001_1.VOB to VTS_01_VOBID_001_1.VOB) o
you have ripped splitting by vob_id. DeCheck this option in dvddecrypter
(or hit load defaults)

Thanks buzzqw,
But I don't think there is an option for that ?
I have to use "IFO" mode, not "File" mode.
In the "Settings" for the "IFO mode", there is not have an option to split by vob_id, only by file size.
Even though this seems the wrong way round !
Because in the "Settings" for the "File mode", there is an option to split by vob_id !!
And on top of that, I have to select each vob file individually to rip.
The "Go" button does not work unless I highlight an individual vob file.
AutoGK does not seem to rip all the vob files on the DVD in one go ?
So I had to select a vob file, rip it, select the next vob file, rip it....and so on. Until I ended up with the 16 ripped vob files.
Any idea's ?

buzzqw,
Sorry to keep hasling you, but even when I select the file splitting to "none" or "auto" in the ISO settings, I can only rip each vob individually.
The button used to start the decrypting is greyed out and not selectable (see attached file GO-not_allowed.jpg).
The start decrypt button is only selectable if I choose an individual vob file (shown as PGC) which then means that 16 decrypted files will be made !
Help !!

Your hard drive is almost filled up. Each vob is .99GB, and you don't have enough space for even 2 vob files. I think you're supposed to highlight a PGC anyway.

Welcome to the forum,
It seems a config problem in dvd decrypter indeed.
De-install dvd decrypter, re-install last rev (should be 3.5.2.0) here http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/DVD-Decrypter-Download-5770.html
Use the AutoGK tutorial to configure dvd decrypter here http://len0xmirror1.serveftp.net/~len0x/tutorial/AutoGK.html
If still problems search the AGK FAQ here http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=72679 there may be workaround to try.
If still problems, come back and post your problem and your procedure and config :)

manono is right try to free a minimum of free space (6 to 8Gb)and try again to rip before trying my tips/

This is an episodic DVD. It doesn't have a "main movie" -- each episode is a separate Program Chain (PGC).
The easiest way to manage this is to encode each episode separately.

as far a I know (which is not much) you MUST rip each PGC (episode) separatey (i.e. diferent folders and so diferent rips - jobs). The ripping of the whole DVD at one can only be done via file mode, which is not compatible with autogk. You cant rip the 16 (or whatever) episodes at one time.
