DVP642 Fast Foward Issue

I made two DVD+R burns using Nero Express.

The first was, "I Robot", the second, "Hero" (English track). They both are gorgeous DiVX encodes save one annoyance, I, Robot allows for fast forwarding, Hero does not.

Any ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem... can't figure out what factor(s) allow for FFW/REW to work with non-DVD movies.

If nobody knows, I guess I'll experiment some more & maybe will figure it out. I posted a separate thread before seeing this one.

P.S. you're probably always safe if you strictly use DivX v3.11 with CBR MP3, but there's got to be a better solution...

I called Philips customer care, and (as expected) nobody can answer why some AVI's can be forwarded/rewound and some can't.

These companies need to hire at least one technician who knows the firmware & can answer questions like this... shees. :rolleyes:
