Vdub setmode error

I get the following error in Virtualdubmod - using Latest GKnot, after encoding has almost finished. I've tried a reinstall and checked the program paths...can't figure this out. thnx in advance for any help :)

"The Function setmode was called on a stream[?] that hasn't been previously initialized with setsource"

Problem was also queried a long time ago..but without an answer(at least that I can see) here:

Well, how about posting your VirtualDub job file that produced this error so we can see what's going wrong? ;)

Thanx for responding Leak...and sorry for my long lapse. I did a search and either audio filetype(mp3-wave from besweet)/spaces in filename or non-english characters are the problem(at least from other posts that i've seen).
I don't use non-english characters so I'll try to fix all the above(there were spaces in the filename) and encode to plain mp3 in besweet - hopefully that will fix it.
