no audio!

I am a newbie to avi to mpeg conversion. I've tried TMPGEnc and Aare avi to vcd/dvd/svcd/mpeg. Each time I get video but no audio. What am I doing wrong?

Try DVD2SVCD with TMPGEnc, works great and real, real easy.

Tmpgenc has a crappy audio encoder to start with and Some avi file audio don't do well. In most cases your and change the audio encoder (located under the environmental settings) and have better luck.

i have the same prob. but i want to convert with avi to svcd since i used those automatic converters the quality wasnt that great. I changed my MPEG AUDIO layer III to lame.exe but still no help. Some please help.

toolame is the on I have used and it works pretty well. Find it on the download page. Another solution is to de-mux and encode the audio seperately.
