View Full Version : Problems with an XviD "I/L 489 ms (11.7 v.frames)"

Hello,
I have an XviD film that can't be read by my Kiss 1000 player. Before reencoding to DivX I'd like to learn some new things and may be to find a different way to solve the problem.

The Mpeg4 modifier shows this user data "XviD0009 followed by a square box" I don't know if that's relevant or what that square box mean. I changed to Xvid0001 just to try, but without success.
The rest of it seems to be OK. No packed bitstream. AR: Square Pixels.

The only thing quite different from other films I have is what appears in GSpot:
I/L 489 ms (11.7 v.frames) Split: No

Is that important? What does ms, v.frames and split mean? (By the way, in other films appears also "p=480" or 496)

Can I try to change something and avoid reencoding in order my player can read it?

Thanks in advance.
