But in my system (Atlhon XP) the build of Affar offers more speed.

Is this with default settings? Because in my build Trellis is on by default.

But the difference of speed is minimal.

Maybe affar doesn't use icl8.1 which is slower on amd cpus.

ICL 8.1 is evil...
btw CPU optimized GCC compiled builds are here: http://ebola.gamersrevolt.it/celticdruid/gcc

Maybe those builds are a bit faster.
