I have been trying to backup my copies of Little Black Book and Resident Evil Apocalypse. Both using DVDDecryptor's newest version. They rip fine and Auto GK gives no error. However, the avi file does not play any audio. FFDshow opens a video & AUDIO icon in the system tray, so there must be an audio file in there. I just do not hear anything. Has anybody done a convert of these two DVDs?

A search for RE2 or little black book in the Decrypting forum shows these two discs require special handling (and a new DVD Decrypter release):

I am using the new DVDDecryptor release and can rip the disc fine. However, As stated by Ligthning UK himself, his job is only to get the source to H/D. What is done from there is not the programs responsibility. The errors still remain which are causing me hell trying to use AutoGK with.

Are you able to play audio files from agk_tmp dir? (what is it btw - AC3/DTS/MP3?)

yes I can play them.
Lightning UK actually guided me to the holy grail on this one.
When decrypting the DVD I had to uncheck the cells that contained an * next to it while in IFO mode, this got rid of the blackness at the begining of video and also corrected the audio issue.
