DVD: Anchorman, NTSC
APP: GKNOT v0.28.8
Problem: AV Sync issue

DVD Rips fine, GKNOT converts fine, Audio is not sync.
Checked the final _movie file and the .mp3 file, same length, I can somehow sync it back, but why is it happenning? Some problem during Muxing?

Any help?

:logfile:

Is there a leader (such as a logo) in front of the main content?

You mean the Dreamworks logo? Yes, but it has audio too, the thing is why does this happen, when the MP3 file and _Movie.avi are the same length?

Tomorrow will post Log File, bit late now, thanks anyway.

And you're ripping in IFO mode, too, right?

I didn't see anything obvious in the log.

You mentioned you were able to re-sync. Did you do this by remuxing with a delay other than 0?

I can somehow sync it back

I said I can somehow, prolly take some time for me though, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why! I guess I'll try AutoGK just to be sure.

Can you try muxing the audio in manually? When I see 0.28.8, I get vague recollections of audio issues ;)

I've yet to ever have a problem with GKNOT, Im gonna try AutoGK to be sure, and also a manual mux, since I have both streams separately also, and using VDub.
Will post back the details.

I've had similar problems w/ recent conversions using DVD Decrypter & AGK. I was able to solve the problem by not using DVD Decrypter, instead I used DVD Shrink first & then I used AGK on it's outputed files. A/V out of sync problems went away. Best regards.
