Hi there! Dont know if I should write all my tests down or head right on to the problem, so I go for the problem.
My goal is to make avi files of slides. Thats no problem, for now Im cheking ProShow Gold (PSG) out. With PSG, the avi files are in 'DVD format', MPEG 2 PAL etc. So I dont have to re encode them after that.

The problem is the 'chapterization'
I need a program where I can enter chapter spec. like DVDAuthorGUI. there I can paste in a pre generated formula for chapters.
Just want to make this out put files for one title (my avi file) at a time.
The output files after this is VOBs and IFOs, am I right?
After doing this, I get some VOBs and IFOs, one for each slideshow.
From all my chapterized VOBs, I want to be able to compile different slide shoes DVDs.
And then I can import them to NVE(?) (did a test to import a ob into NVE but that chapters was missing)
Have noticed that I cant rename VOBs to my liking, I need a fix for this too?

1. Have AVIs in MPEG 2 PAL format.
2. Need a solution to mark chapters in them.
3. Need a solution to combine different of this files (titles) with chapters onto a DVD, and some menues...
4. Im happy if the last step can be done in nero or roxio.
Do you understand my problem, almost I do not...
