Hi, my problem is short and weird:
I've created my DVD in DVD-LAB just fine, and when I simulate the menus everything is great.
But! when I compile the DVD, all I get is the VOB files in the VIDEO_TS folder, and no IFO files! like, no menus, just a couple very long VOB files!
So, why won't it create my menus?
please help.
thx.

A menu is a vob file, so there could be menus in there. Ifo files have nothing to do with menus (well as much as with other vob files that is). And ifo file contains info about the vob files that your dvd player uses to play those.
Did you by any chance only compile vobs instead of a complete dvd? I dodn't know if dvd-lab has this option, but other authoring packages have.

ok, you're right. there could be a menu inside a vob file.
but, in order for a DVD to play correctly, it needs IFO files. no other way around it.
and there's no option to select for the sole creation of VOB files.
so, pls, I ask again, Why won't it create my IFOs???????
thx.

Maybe u're out of space...
Try enabling the Temp Folder in the DVDLab Compile option and choose a different drive from the output folder drive. Check to see that u have more then a few gigs of space in the Temp Drive.
