Hello, and welcome to the forum.

If you're capturing in RGB, try switching to capturing in YUY2. RGB takes 24 bits per pixel, while YUY2 only consumes 16 bits per pixel.

I understand that most, if not all, capture chipsets actually capture in YUY2 anyway.

Hi jggimi,thanks for your reply.
when I try switching to capture format in VirtualDub sync,Only these
Options (RGB - YUV - DV/DVCAM),I can't find YUY2 mode.

http://xs10.xs.to/pics/05016/matrox.capture.format.setting.jpg

- capture format: YUV
- capture resolution: 720*576 (The only Capture Resolution available for the YUV and DV/DVCAM capture format is full-screen)
- Data format: YUY2 YUV 4:2:2 interleaved

I follows this setting to capture, but still get 20-25 frames dorpped an hour.
