View Full Version : Why won't Nero burn DVD-Video with Laptop?

My friend got a new laptop with a DVD burner. It's a Toshiba A75-S229 with a multi-format burner.

I've installed Shrink and Nero 6.6

Shrink was able to extract the main movie itself, but I cannot get nero to burn it to a DVD-Video. At first I thougth the burner was bad since before nero stops, it gives an error: "Focus or tracking error", but I'm able to burn data to a CD-R and even Data to a DVD+R. I even burned one of the IFO files from the extracted movie with the drive to a DVD+R media while burning it as a DVD-Data.

Using Nero infotool, I don't know what's wrong.
the burner is a Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-820S
Firmware version 1.50
Under configuration, DMA is ON and Autorun is ON.
The only thing that I'm not sure if it's a problem is that under ASPI:
System ASPI had "NONE"
Nero ASPI "OK"

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
