One of the bonus footage features on my Pirates of the Caribbean DVD is called Producer's Photo Diary - made up of video and still shots.
after converting this 4min section to xvid there seems a problem when the still shots are shown. There are wavy parts of the pictures.
Any thoughts on how to correct this?

I'm not sure what you mean by "wavy parts of the pictures", that's why I asked for screenshots of them.

its hard to see without seeing the video, but I circled a couple areas of the attached photo that are wavy during playback

you mean the shot is still, but some areas are shaking?

the video from the dvd is jerry bruckheimer talking about these photos he shot during the filming. there is video of him talking and on the set as well as these photos. when the photos are shown, parts of them have this wavy effect.

I don't think that's correctable in AutoGK. In GK you probably can use freeze frame filter (quite a lot of work though).

P.S. Original DVD doesn't have this problem you say?

yea, original dvd plays this fine.
