I use dvd2svcd and cce 2.67.00.11 it run fine no crashes but when it done the video is a block in the middle of the screen. the borders on the top and bottom i undersatnd thats widescreen but the side i dont know and cant get rid of what am i doing wrong

Hi.
A bit more info would be helpful, if possible.
When you convert, in the "conversion" tab you have different options for aspect ratio.
If the borders are bigger than expected, you must be choosing the wrong one.
Are you making VCD, SVCD or DVD?
My guess is that you have a 16:9 DVD for input and you are using DVD as output. If so, go to the Misc tab and select "Advanced" in the box next to "DVD2SVCD level". Now when you load up your IFO in the conversion tab, you have a third option for Aspect Ratio - Anamorphic 16:9.
If you choose this last option, the output DVD will be the same as the input DVD.

i am makeing a svcd the dvd is 16.9 and the setting i am using is 16.9(with borders, encode as 4.3)

I got it to work i had to set the advanced tab you was talking about baack to normal and it work fine thanks
