CES Las Vegas - 06/09 Jan 2005

As some of you guys may already be aware, CES in Las Vegas, runs from January 6th until January 9th 2005.

If some of you are able to attend, I wonder if you could pay particular attention to some of the high-def Mpeg2/4/WMV players that are on display. Such as these from KISS: -

There's even supposed to be some stand-alones capable of playing Mpeg4/AVC :)

Anyway... if you can, take some pictures (of the front and back) of whats on offer!

A lot of former my co-workers are attending it and we'll hook up. I wish I could go it's just not open to the public. Maybe next year I'll to to get in as a press person or whatever. I know they're really strict and each product you take a photo of you must first seek explicit permission.

Actually found a way to get in but not till Saturday (tomorrow). Hopefully can check out dvd related items as much as possible and take some pics.

Unfortunatly no ammount of testing can fix an inherantly flawed system. And remember, it's not windows that is crashing but tha hardware. Or so Bill would have you believe.
