Hi!
I got an ATI Saphire Radeon 9250, its enough for my video editing needs and passive cooled ;) And its known for its nice Tv-Output Quality via the Theatremode.
I encountered a problem related to the picture qualiy on my TV:
- It seems that a forced deinterlacer is doing its work :eek: - disabling the deinterlacer via rage3d tweak doesnt solve that.
- If watching Streams in MPC the LUMA is too bright on my TV
- At very bright scenes the picture on my TV suddenly moves vertically very fast upndown - some sync stability issue/problem?
Related to the bright luma I recognised that the ATI itself "seems" to force a pc->tv luma reduction, no matter which luma range is provided by the MPC! So even a perfect TV Luma range based Capture will look too bright on my TV :(
Well I temporaraley fixed that via FFdshow decoding and its internal levels where Luma to 0-255 stretching is supported.
But I do think thats not the logic.
Does someone have an idea how to enter the ATI by other tools to switch of the deinterlacer and setting up a proper Luma Playback??
I already had a "search" in here where some intersting posts like from Soulhunter etc. where given but this problem have not been treated in here. imho.
