XviD-1.0.3-20122004 BUG REPORT

this is a bug report for xvid 1.0.3 20122004.

bitrate calc:
video time: any

bug: when i insert target size above 2.090.000 KBytes (just 2.100.000 do it) and no subtitle and audio size (or just add at 2.090.000 audio and subtitle size, it's the same) bitrate shown in average bitrate become negative.

maybe just because 2e31=2.147.483.648
that means the biggest signed integer on 32 bits

anyway, why do you need a 2gb xvid? well maybe you need.

I noticed that to with filesize of 3 Gb. The bitrate isn't correctly reported but the filesize at the end of the 2nd pass is perfect.

in my test video size is incorrect: if i set wit filesize over 2100000 and bitrate negative file result is always 990mb.

That's strange, because I never had problems with this negative bitrate. I use the target filesize as second pass setting. Do you use this or do you use the target bitrate option?

Maybe xvid is saturating with quant 2 frames? You can change the quantization matrix to solve this or even put 1 to the min quant in the two pass tab
