I have the latest 2.1.1 and it doesn't seem to create working SVCD discs for me. they won't play in PowerDVD or my standalone. The MPEG2 file on it seems fine.

When I create an SVCD in Nero, it works great, but I can't do chapters there. I followed all the instructions. Video imports fine, chapters work okay within VCDEasy, and it burns fine. But it doesn't work.

Seems like a simple problem. Is there something I'm missing?

Based on what you said, nothing sounds wrong. It's a lot more worrisome to me that PowerDVD won't play the disc you made than that a standalone won't play it. Maybe there is a bug in the newest version. You should check the official forums (http://www.vcdeasy.org has a link) and ask there. I suppose it is worth asking - were you ever able to make a SVCD correctly in the past with a previous version of VCDeasy? If this was your first attempt, we can't rule out that you did something wrong. Try using VCDeasy just to make a SVCD with no chapters and see if anything can play it. If even that fails, either there's something wrong with VCDeasy or you're doing something wrong in how you make the discs that you're not telling us about.
